Hillside Cottage

This cozy cottage is set near the edge of a deep ravine, exposed to high winds and driving rain.  This cottage was designed and oriented to turns it back on the wind, but towards the magnificant views of the Cook Inlet.  The nearly constant threat of fire in the area drove the decision to wrap nearly the entire structure in archiectural metal.
